Terms & Conditions

Official terms governing safari bookings, expedition itineraries, guest responsibilities, and liability waivers.

1. Booking Contract & Agreement

By submitting an enquiry, confirming an itinerary, or paying a deposit to Bots Safari Tours (Pty) Ltd ("the Operator"), you ("the Guest" or "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. All safari arrangements, mobile camping logistics, game drives, and transfers are provided subject to the laws of the Republic of Botswana.

2. Booking Deposits & Payment Schedules

To secure expedition dates and reserve DWNP park campsite permits, the following payment terms apply:

Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required upon booking confirmation.
Final Balance Deadline: The remaining balance of 70% must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled safari departure date.
Late Bookings: Bookings made within 60 days of departure require 100% full payment at the time of confirmation.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing via email to info@botssafaritours.com. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the departure date:

More than 60 days prior to departure: Deposit forfeited (30%)

59 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of total safari cost

Less than 30 days prior / No Show: 100% of total safari cost

4. Travel Insurance & Wilderness Risk Waiver

Mandatory Travel & Medical Insurance: It is a strict prerequisite that all guests hold comprehensive personal travel, medical evacuation, and cancellation insurance prior to joining any Bots Safari Tours expedition.

Wilderness Risk Disclaimer: Safaris in Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, and Okavango Delta involve close encounters with wild animals in unfenced, remote environments. Guests acknowledge that participation carries inherent risks. Bots Safari Tours, its professional licensed guides, and camp staff accept no liability for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to baggage unless caused by gross negligence.

5. Guest Conduct & Guide Authority

To ensure guest safety and respect Botswana park regulations, guests agree to obey all safety directives issued by their professional safari guide. The guide retains sole authority to alter routes or terminate participation of any guest whose conduct poses a safety risk to themselves, fellow guests, wildlife, or staff.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any legal dispute or claim arising under or in connection with an expedition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Botswana.
